In class I have been writing a free verse poem. My free verse poem is called, "Flowers."

My 5w poem

This week on Tuesday the 22 nd of October we did a 5 W poem.  It stands for who,  what , when where and why . Everyone in our class did as many as we could in a few minutes and I  did 2 . My one was about clouds and the other one was about rainbows . My favourite one was "Clouds"- it goes like this:

                 CLOUDS

The fluffy , furry , funky clouds 

Where wandering free in the sky 

All the time enjoying ever secend  of the day 

because the clouds need freedom 

and they like to have a great view.

Shape poems in Term 4

It's a new term and our class is busy doing a lot of things but I am going tell you about two things. The first one is shape poems. My one was about butterfies. It goes like this:

I am a butterfly. I am a gorgeous, beautiful creature. I'm very soft, tiny and cute but I only live for a few years. Butterflies come in different shapes and sizes and colours. I fly  high in the sky. I see the land that I live in. I flutter, flit, hover, glide and I live in flowers. I am a gorgeous, beautiful creature so protect me.

Art this week

For art we are doing a paintings on the work of Haundertwasser. You draw houses that have no straight lines and the buildings are close together so when you put your hand out the window you can touch your neighbour's house. Hundertwasser always says straight lines are the  devils work. 

In reading our class is reading myths and in art we are created our own mythical creature. I liked the one I created.  I called it "Catafly" and it lives on clouds. It is supposed to be cute. Art week I think it is coming up and I don't know what I will put in. I'll probably will put in my Hundertwasser art.

Bullying

Today I am writing about Joe and Raymond. It is a book about bulling. I think people bully each other because people want to be the king or queen and to be better than others. It was funny how Mr Foster (he's the teacher of Joe) used his powers to solve a bullying problem.

I am a Year 4 student at primary school in Townsville. I love playing games. My goal is to have fun and do my best. I have just had my school holidays. In my holidays I did horse riding and I went to Ayr.
